Buffing alien eggs would not be good and not possible the way you've described it. The moment the alien chooses to place an egg, he is aware that if it's found he loses EP, and that plenty of people tend to walk around with healthbars always on, so that encourages him to find a really good spot to place his eggs.

I'm not sure if it's even possible to hide health bars permanently in WC3. However, I would like to anecdotally advance the notion that hiding egg health bars would improve the game rather than hinder it. To support this conclusion, I turn thy focus to Xeno Crisis, where egg health bars ARE permanently hidden, and yet eggs are still quite discoverable and yet often hidden with ferocious obscurity. Of course, hiding them inside random crates in ships for no observable reason isn't possible in Xeno Crisis, so pick your poison I suppose.
Another suggestion: If your in space with a ship and step on the ship's console, make the view not-go to space. It's seriously annoying when fighting in raptors - you accidentally step on the console and lose control of your character, which often proves fatal. It may be only for 1-2 seconds, but a nuke's timer doesn't pause for 1-2 seconds. We've had some games where pros lose to complete noobs because of this. Happened to me too once - lost a fight I was otherwise bound to win because I lost control of my character at the exact instant a nuke got planted ._.
An excellent observation if I must say. I've had this happen to me before. I simple timer followed by a conditional check to see if the player is still at the controls should be sufficient to rectify this annoyance.
That is all. Don't let your minds explode from too much awesome. If necessary, look away from my words and get some fresh air for a few minutes and you should be fine.
