Btw... Buff alien eggs! Make their health bars invisible if you press Alt or got healthbars permanently enabled. Seeing healthbars kills the point of being able to hide them inside objects... some people just play with healthbars enabled and its rly hard to hide them like that.
I say no to that!  Alien eggs seem like a silly idea to me in general >_>  I'd much rather have the alien be doing something active to accrue points than hiding eggs somewhere.  Also hiding healthbars would be lame and if you don't already play with healthbars always enabled then you have failed.

He meant we wanted to remove that and add a more interesting alien, but I am skipping on that idea since this version will be only focused on balancing and bugfixes.

Buffing alien eggs would not be good and not possible the way you've described it. The moment the alien chooses to place an egg, he is aware that if it's found he loses EP, and that plenty of people tend to walk around with healthbars always on, so that encourages him to find a really good spot to place his eggs.

The only "good" places to place the eggs is where the camera doesn't show for you, unless you are really close to it, which seems to be more of a bug exploit than a "good" spot.

Nope. There are plenty of places you can effectively hide eggs without even using this "bug exploit", you just have to be creative and know the map.

Another suggestion: If your in space with a ship and step on the ship's console, make the view not-go to space. It's seriously annoying when fighting in raptors - you accidentally step on the console and lose control of your character, which often proves fatal. It may be only for 1-2 seconds, but a nuke's timer doesn't pause for 1-2 seconds. We've had some games where pros lose to complete noobs because of this. Happened to me too once - lost a fight I was otherwise bound to win because I lost control of my character at the exact instant a nuke got planted ._.

Your most Beloved and Benevolent Bashar here to drop some sassy suggestions upon your onlooking faces!

I'm not sure if it's even possible to hide health bars permanently in WC3. However, I would like to anecdotally advance the notion that hiding egg health bars would improve the game rather than hinder it. To support this conclusion, I turn thy focus to Xeno Crisis, where egg health bars ARE permanently hidden, and yet eggs are still quite discoverable and yet often hidden with ferocious obscurity. Of course, hiding them inside random crates in ships for no observable reason isn't possible in Xeno Crisis, so pick your poison I suppose.

An excellent observation if I must say. I've had this happen to me before. I simple timer followed by a conditional check to see if the player is still at the controls should be sufficient to rectify this annoyance.

That is all. Don't let your minds explode from too much awesome. If necessary, look away from my words and get some fresh air for a few minutes and you should be fine.

Well, you can just make that when you step on the circle in a explorer vessel, such as raptor and obda, the same thing happens as stepping on a circle of Kyo Station or Swagger and other stations. You have to press "Show Space" to actually show space. Easy.

Yeah, making consoles in space vessels spell immune would certainly do the job.
